I’m a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. I develop and maintain production systems for financial services, education, and commerce, combining technical design, implementation, and operations.
My work spans web and mobile applications, backend services, financial systems, application security, legacy integrations, and platform engineering. I’m particularly interested in where software architecture, infrastructure, and production operations intersect.
I’m also building Wize It, my software and automation initiative for businesses. Through it, I combine my experience in development, infrastructure, and operations to address concrete needs. Agents focuses on customer inquiries across digital channels; WES coordinates engineering work with AI agents and human review.
You can call me Nacho. I’ve always been curious about how systems work: I started by building computers and solving technical problems, and that curiosity evolved into designing and operating complete software systems.

Full Stack Software Engineer @ Eldar · Newpay / Fiserv
Apr. 2023 — Present
- At Newpay, selected the frontend stack and built a Next.js/TypeScript banking platform frontend that replaced legacy PHP. Also designed and built a production React Native/Expo TOTP app for Android and iOS, with offline generation and secure storage.
- Modernized five Java/Spring APIs to remediate vulnerabilities, including critical findings. Completed two inherited financial APIs and brought them to production: transaction notifications through AWS SQS and account-to-debit-card linking through a central API.
- At Fiserv, maintained Java/Spring services integrated with mainframe systems and documented previously undocumented data flows. Remediated vulnerabilities across four APIs using Sonatype, Fortify, and WebInspect.

- Built the interface and backend for the Botmaker–CRM integration, with APIs and webhooks to synchronize conversations and leads in real time.
- Designed and implemented an AI assistant used in production to suggest replies when requested by CRM operators, including the interface, backend, and AI service integration.
- Developed and maintained applications across .NET Framework 4.7 and .NET 6, with C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and JavaScript. Delivered REST APIs and technical documentation.

May. 2022 — Mar. 2023
- Enabled internal development of the pharmacy sales platform by setting up the first internal Angular/Symfony environment connected to COBOL, importing the supplied code into company repositories, and documenting it.
- Investigated and resolved production incidents using New Relic and logs across Angular, Symfony, and MySQL, tracing interactions with the legacy system.
- Automated daily order reports and metrics with Bash, cron, and MySQL, giving management earlier visibility into commercial activity. Also worked on backups and production releases.
